Position Overview
Providence Health & Services is seeking a Surgical Technician – CVOR based at Sacred Heart Medical Center – Spokane, WA.
Key Responsibilities- Act as the scrub technologist in the operating room and other clinical areas, managing the selection and set-up of the sterile table with instruments, supplies and equipment.
- Pass instruments to the surgeon during procedures while maintaining sterile technique.
- Care for instruments after procedures and ensure proper instrument stewardship.
- Support additional roles such as case cart, turnover or service line surgical technologist as needed.
- Under RN supervision, assist with circulating duties and help meet key performance indicators for efficient OR workflows.
- Graduate of a Surgical Technology program or equivalent coursework.
- Washington Surgical Technologist Registration upon hire.
- National Provider BLS – American Heart Association certification upon hire.
- Current experience as a registered Surgical Technologist; recent completion of an accredited program may be considered current experience.
- At least 2 years of operating room experience.
Pay range: $29.39–$45.66 per hour plus potential shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, and bonus opportunities. $20,000 sign‑on bonus for eligible external candidates meeting all conditions, with possible relocation assistance.
