Sterile Processing Technician, On-Call – Shriners Children’s
The Sterile Processing Technician provides assistance in Central Supply and the Surgical area for infant, preschool, school-age, and young adult (up to age 21) patients. Shriners Spokane is looking for a PRN Sterile Processing Technician to join the team.
Pay range: $20.18–$30.27 per hour, based on experience and departmental equity.
All employees are eligible for medical coverage on their first day. - Implement decontamination, preparation, and sterilization of surgical supplies and equipment.
- Assemble case carts containing consumable supplies and instrumentation.
- Clean and decontaminate surgical instruments.
- Identify and assemble multiple types of surgical instruments and instrument sets.
- Inspect instruments, replace or send for repairs.
This is not an all-inclusive list of responsibilities. The incumbent may be required to perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.
Requirements- 1 year working with surgical instruments.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Central Supply Processing Department Technician (CSPDT) certification.
