Join Our Mission-Driven Team as a Float Support Staff. Make a difference when it matters most. At Volunteers of America (VOA), we work to restore hope, dignity, and a sense of belonging for those facing life’s toughest challenges.
As part of our on-call float team, you’ll support this mission by stepping in when your presence matters most—offering flexibility for your schedule and a meaningful way to make a difference, one shift at a time. In this role, you’ll work in a supportive, community-oriented setting alongside individuals who are facing a variety of life challenges.
Using trauma-informed approaches, you’ll help create a space that fosters dignity, healing, and connection—meeting people where they are and walking with them as they take steps toward greater stability.

As a float, you’ll provide essential support during evenings, nights, weekends, and other shifts based on operational needs. Your presence ensures the people we serve continue to receive high-quality care during the most critical times.
