Overview
This position is responsible for developing, coordinating and directing all aspects of quality, cost effective, outcome-oriented clinical nutrition care under minimum supervision. Assists in the management of PIPS' nutritional resources. Responsible for decisions and judgments affecting patients total nutrition care. Facilitates improvement in patient's nutrition status to reduce complications and lower the risk of harm to the patient. Assists the pharmacists in managing the TPN patients.
Clinical monitoring of enteral patients.

- Assist in the management of PIPS' nutritional resources.
- Make decisions and judgments affecting patients' total nutrition care.
- Facilitate improvement in patient’s nutrition status to reduce complications and lower the risk of harm to the patient.
- Assist the pharmacists in managing the TPN patients.
- Clinical monitoring of enteral patients.
- Bachelor s Degree in Nutrition or Dietetics
- Within 6 months (180 days) of hire:
Washington Dietitian Certification or - Within 6 months (180 days) of hire:
Washington Nutritionist Certification - Upon hire:
National CDR Registered Dietitian - Commission on Dietetic Registration - 1 year Hospital or home care experience.
- Experience in enteral/parenteral nutrition.
- Pediatric, adult and geriatric experience.
- Development of nutrition related forms and policies and procedures.
