The target total compensation for this position is $80-$100k+.

As a Licensed Mortgage Loan Originator with Basis Home Loans, you will partner with the Adair Homes sales team to provide construction financing options to Adair Customers. This role offers a significant opportunity to serve customers through our preferred builder relationships by providing competitive financing solutions and excellent service. We are seeking a Licensed Mortgage Loan Originator to join our team who can live in Washington or Idaho. This position will require the candidate to provide in-office and remote support to the Adair Homes team. The ideal candidate must have a track record of being a successful Mortgage Loan Originator, an eagerness to learn, a tremendous focus on customer service, solving complex problems, and the ability to nurture strong relationships.

This position requires the MLO to be licensed in Washington & Idaho.

• Provides applicants with information regarding the loan application process.
• Provides applicants required disclosures, including the Affiliated Business Arrangement (ABA) Disclosure.
• Counsels customers concerning loan products specific to consumer s credit needs.
• Obtains complete loan application, including all support documentation needed to process the loan.
• Pre-qualifies potential loan applicants by analyzing their financial background.
• Follow up on processing the loan by obtaining additional applicant information if necessary.
• Maintains communications between the lender, borrower, and Adair Homes
• Establishes rate with borrower verbally and in writing before settlement.
• Understands and supports the corporation s policies and procedures to provide proper and effective treatment to all the corporation s customers.
• Resolves any customer problems expeditiously and tactfully.
• Reviews and reports complaints received from customers and recommends corrective action to management.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
• Identify, Develop and Nurture relationships with Adair Homes Home Ownership Consultants.

• Must be a licensed or registered MLO through the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) and maintain Active/Approved State Licenses in Washington and Idaho.
• Minimum 2-3 years of documented experience originating residential mortgage loans. Demonstrated understanding of federal and state mortgage regulations (RESPA, TILA, SAFE Act, HMDA, etc.).
• Experience managing multiple client relationships concurrently while maintaining documented high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Great attention to detail.
• Organized.
• Urgent and diligent follow up skills.
• Consistently close a minimum of 1 self-generated loan per month (Purchase, Refinance).
• Ability to work well with fellow associates, clients, and vendors.
• Good communication skills.
• Proficiency in using Loan Origination Software, including Encompass by ICE Mortgage Technology.
• Familiarity with construction lending and one close construction loans.
• Bachelor s Degree preferred.
