Our hybrid work environment combines the best of both worlds with at least three (3) days in office and up to two (2) days virtual for employees who live within fifty (50) miles of a Farmers corporate office.

Prepare financial reports and analysis for business unit management personnel at all levels. Assist in providing other finance support and special project analysis as required. Work closely under direct supervision of a senior Financial Analyst or a Finance Manager.

• Prepare monthly budget variance analysis and forecasting reports for business review.
• Assist in preparation of monthly key performance indicator metrics reports.
• Develop annual budget for assigned departments; conduct deviation analysis and work with departmental representatives to resolve differences; make sure schedule is adhered to.
• Assist in consolidation of annual budget and perform analysis.
• Assist in updating financial models.
• Participates in process improvement projects.
• Track special projects and initiatives.
• Prepare ad‑hoc reports, analysis and conduct special projects as necessary.
• Promotes safety at all times and complies with safety/ergonomic standards as outlined in relevant company published manuals.

• External candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of prior Accounting or Finance experience.
• Experience in financial modeling and financial planning, including forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with solid skills in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Great communication and problem‑solving skills, able to use data and input to make strategic decisions and maintain positive relationships across teams.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Accounting, Finance or related field.

• Applied working knowledge of SAP.
• Basic experience with Power BI (preferred).
• Familiarity with VBA (preferred).
• Some knowledge of Alteryx (preferred).

Required job duties are normally performed in a climate‑controlled office environment.
