Process Engineer I (Metallurgical Engineer)

In this entry‑level position, you will optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, productivity, and product quality, working out of Spokane Valley, WA. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate process spam into production operations, identify opportunities for improvement, conduct analysis and simulations, ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards, and provide technical support.
You will report directly to the Process Engineering Manager.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate process design into manufacturing operations.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Conduct process simulations and analyses to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
- Provide technical support to resolve process‑related issues and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Perform process control (SPC/SQC) cenes and statistical analysis.
- Assist in the development and implementation of process engineering strategies and initiatives.
- Contribute to the optimization of efficiency, cost reduction, and product quality.
You must have
- Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Materials Science, or Physics (preferred).
- Recent college graduate to 2 years’ experience in an engineering field.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Six Sigma Green Belt (must be able to complete within the first 12 months).
