CAD Drafter

Job Description

Viridian Staffing's Client is looking for CAD Drafter to create technical drawings and detailed designs onsite for an equipment manufacturing company based out of the Spokane, Washington, area. This position is based in Spokane, Washington, and in office attendance is required.

Responsibilities:

• You will use your critical thinking and problem solving skills to calculate material and equipment requirements and set up projection methods after gathering drawings and specs.
• You will have the opportunity to help in the design of new products, create standard models, and edit changes based on recommendations from customers and/or management.
• As a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Solidworks, you will be responsible for the creation and monitoring of products.
• Using your excellent written communication skills, you'll be creating SOP's for the building/maintaining of equipment, manuals, and providing summaries of resolved technical issues.
• You will research and evaluate materials, assemblies, processes, and equipment, while identifying and communicating potential design problems to stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering, architecture, or similar degree.
• Proven work experience as a Drafter.
• Finely tuned critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Solidworks experience is required; able to work alone or in a team environment.

Compensation: $27–$29/hour
