Job Description:

The Sr. Project Manager – Operations position will provide project management support for strategic Engineering projects. Position will track day to day progress of strategic projects, develop detailed project schedules, cost tracking, project action item tracking, and will co-ordinate with site resources in the execution of strategic projects. Additionally, the position will generate and track project performance metrics and develop board level presentations for project review and proposal.

  • Provides project management expertise utilizing PMI best practices for strategic corporate projects.
  • Leads project teams; direct and indirect reporting
  • Ensures assigned projects are executed within timeline and budget.
  • Generates project review presentations for executive level personnel and routinely updates project performance metrics.
  • Routinely updates and tracks capital spend charts for critical projects.
  • Leads and/or attends site project team meetings as assigned, with documented action item tracking.
  • Develop project charter, scope document, and scope change control process.
  • Develops human resource plan for strategic project execution.
  • Generate, update, and track detailed project Gantt charts.
  • Develop stage gates for each project and conduct stage gate review meetings.
  • Lead project risk assessments sessions.
  • Collaborates with equipment and services vendors for detailed project execution scheduling and resource planning.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors or Masters of Science in Engineering or other related sciences required
  • PMP Certification preferred
  • 7 to 10 years in project management required
  • Mastery skills in Project Management – best practices per PMI, PMBOK required
  • Functional expert in MS Project required.
  • Working Knowledge in MS Excel and MS Power Point required
  • Working knowledge with Visio required
  • General awareness understanding cGMPs required

Shift: Weekday Days, Monday-Friday

This is an on-site, full-time position located in Spokane, WA.

  • Hiring Wage: $114,500– $168,000 annually depending on experience, with opportunity for growth, promotion and annual raises. Midpoint and above is reserved for employees who have longevity with Jubilant Hollister Stier and consistently exhibit outstanding performance over a period of time in the role
