* The Opportunity:

** As the Cougs Rise Coordinator - Spokane, you will be an integral member of the team, working alongside the Director to develop and implement academic year and summer programming, supervising student mentors, and functioning as a liaison with external constituents. You will provide senior-level academic advising, guidance, and other services to students, utilizing specific knowledge of college transition, persistence, and completion;

independently provide one-on-one counseling focused on academic skills, tutoring, guidance, and mentoring; and independently provide group services and deliver program curriculum in a variety of formats (classroom, field, virtual, etc.). You will also research and identify new opportunities for student recruitment and develop targeted outreach plans.

** Monthly Salary:** $4,061.90 - $5,077 |

* Required Qualifications:

*** Positions require a Bachelor’s degree and three (3) years of professional work experience in student services or related education/experience. Experience leading or directing the work of others. A Master’s degree in a related field may substitute for one (1) year of professional work experience. Any combination of relevant education and professional experience may be substituted for the educational requirement on a year‐for‐year basis.
* Demonstrated experience working successfully with students, faculty, staff, administrators, and the public.
* Demonstrated experience in student service programming.
* Broad knowledge of and work experience with student transition issues and retention related to the target population.
* Demonstrated computer skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
* Ability, and willingness, to work some weekends and evenings.

* Experience with programs serving the target populations.
* Conflict and crisis management experience.
* Demonstrated ability to work effectively and positively in a highly collaborative environment.
