Special Education Paraprofessional

AB Staffing is looking for Special Education Paraprofessional for the 2025–2026 school year.

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to meet Washington State para educator qualification requirements
• Previous experience working with children or in a school setting preferred
• Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
• Ability to follow written plans and maintain confidentiality
• Willingness to complete required training and clearances
• May include standing, walking, lifting, or assisting students as needed
• Work is performed in a school environment

Caseload and details of position will differ based on school location. Recruitment Specialists can discuss in detail upon application to connect you to the classroom and best suits your experience and skillset. Contract through the school year – 30 hours per week. Contract follows the academic district calendar.

• Support students with special needs under the direction of certified staff
• Assist with classroom instruction in small-group or individual settings
• Help monitor student behavior and encourage positive engagement
• Support daily routines and transitions throughout the school day
• Assist teachers with classroom preparation and documentation
• Follow instructional plans, behavior strategies, and safety procedures
• Collaborate with teachers and support staff to meet student needs

$735-810 per hour
