Project Coordinator – Energy Generation Projects

Duration: 1-2 years (W2 contract)

Location: Onsite in Spokane, WA with remote days on Fridays

Position Summary

ROI Agency is seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to support our client’s Energy Generation group
, providing project coordination and controls support for energy generation related projects. This role is responsible for maintaining project documentation, supporting schedules and budgets, managing SharePoint sites, and assisting Project Managers with higher-level project coordination.

This position is best suited for an experienced Project Coordinator who is highly organized, process-oriented, and comfortable working in a regulated utility environment where documentation, controls, and consistency matter.

Key Responsibilities

Project Coordination (≈60%)

  • Support Project Managers with project tracking, meeting coordination, and delivery of project tasks, interdependencies, deliverables, risks, costs
  • Maintain action logs, schedules, meeting notes, and project documentation
  • Assist with change documentation, deliverables, and project close-out activities
  • Coordinate across generation, engineering, and internal stakeholder groups

Controls, Documentation & Administration (≈40%)

  • Manage and maintain Share Point sites and project documentation repositories
  • Support documentation related to processes, procedures, and standardized project controls
  • Assist with budget tracking, purchase orders, and invoice coordination
  • Ensure documentation is accurate, organized, and audit-ready
Required Qualifications
  • 4-5+ years of experience as a Project Coordinator, Project Administrator, or similar role, in the Construction industry
  • Strong experience with documentation management and project controls
  • Very process oriented
  • Advanced proficiency with Share Point Administration and Microsoft Office tools
  • Experience supporting budgets, invoicing, and cost tracking
  • Strong written communication skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently in a structured, compliance-focused environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with generation or plant operations
  • Experience supporting complex, multi-stakeholder projects
  • Comfortable working onsite and collaborating with cross-functional teams
Ideal Candidate Profile
  • Highly organized and process-driven
  • Adaptable and proactive in evolving environments
  • Team-oriented with a strong sense of ownership
  • Comfortable supporting higher-level project work with minimal supervision
