M&E Installation Supervisor Ground Mounted Solar
Fishburn, County Durham
£375 £ 400/day
We are supporting a renewable energy contractor delivering a large ground‑mounted solar PV development in the North East. They are looking for an M&E Installation Supervisor to oversee day‑to‑day installation works and manage subcontractors across mechanical and electrical packages on site.
What you’ll be doing- Supervise installation teams delivering ground‑mounted solar infrastructure
- Oversee installation of mounting systems, modules, DC cabling and inverter stations
- Coordinate subcontractors and ensure work follows drawings and method statements
- Monitor progress and report into the site construction leadership
- Support safe, efficient and high‑quality delivery of the project
- Experience supervising ground‑mounted solar PV construction projects (40MW is the sweet spot)
- Strong background in electrical or renewable energy installation
- Experience managing multiple subcontractor teams on site
- CSCS card (or equivalent), First Aid at Work, SSSTS/SMSTS
- Join a major solar project currently in construction
- Long contract duration with strong continuity of work
- Opportunity to work with an experienced renewable construction team
- Immediate mobilisation available
