Up Front Recruitment is working with a well‑established, award‑winning construction and manufacturing business delivering complex commercial and industrial projects across the UK. They are now looking to appoint a Quantity Surveyor to support continued growth.

This is a well‑rounded Quantity Surveyor role offering long‑term stability, varied projects and the opportunity to work within a collaborative, technically strong commercial team.

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be involved from pre‑contract through to final account, supporting the commercial performance of multiple projects across roofing, cladding and building envelope works.

• Managing project costs from tender through to final account
• Preparing and submitting valuations and applications for payment
• Cost reporting, forecasting and cash flow management
• Assessing variations, change control and commercial risk
• Supporting subcontractor procurement and account management
• Working closely with site teams to ensure commercial compliance
• Assisting with value engineering and cost control strategies
• Maintaining accurate commercial records and reporting

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within construction or specialist subcontracting
• Background in roofing, cladding, building envelope or similar sectors preferred
• Strong understanding of cost management and contract administration
• Confident communicator able to work across site and office teams
• Organised, commercially aware and detail focused
• Degree qualified or equivalent experience in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management
