This busy hospital operates as a high-volume academic medical center with 19 operating rooms plus endoscopy, cardiac, and obstetric services. The facility maintains continuous coverage with an anesthesia care team model ensuring quality patient care across multiple surgical specialties. The hospital handles approximately 15,000 OR cases annually along with 2,000 deliveries and 300 cardiac procedures.

The CRNA will provide anesthesia services across multiple specialties including general surgery, orthopedics, urology, ENT/ophthalmology, bariatric, vascular, neurosurgery, thoracic, gynecology, dermatology, plastic surgery, cardiac procedures, and obstetrics with no trauma cases. The facility performs approximately 15,000 OR cases annually plus 2,000 deliveries and 300 cardiac cases. Board certification and prescriptive authority are required, with OR cases being medically directed and OB CRNAs supervised.

The high-volume academic environment includes participation in cardiac cases for some CRNAs and requires call coverage with specific callback percentages.
