** Position Highlights
**** Spencer Hospital is a rural hospital located in northwest Iowa employing over 500+ employees. Positions at Spencer Hospital are not affiliated with Avera; however, we collaborate to provide services to the communities we serve. Employment offers, if accepted, are exclusively with Spencer Hospital.
**** Responsibilities:
*** Deliver comprehensive skilled nursing care to patients within the home setting
* Participates in the development and implementation of patient care plans in collaboration with physicians and the interdisciplinary team
* Provides quality end-of-life cares and support to patient, family, and caregivers
** Requirements:
*** Flexible, multitasker, demonstrates effective communication and assessment skills
* IA RN license
* BLS required
* Valid driver's license and proof of insurance required
* More career flexibility – create own schedule based on patient caseload for the day
* Greater independence – key communicator between patient, family members, and primary care providers
* Rewarding patient relationships – develop rapport with patients and their family members through case management

* Schedule:

*** 72 hours a pay period - 8 hour shifts
* Typically one holiday of on-call only per year - self scheduled
* Typically one weekend of on-call only every 6 weeks - self scheduled
* The schedule may fluctuate based upon the needs of the department
