Welder

Demco is seeking experienced welders with at least one year of welding experience.
We have current welder openings at our facility located in Spencer, IA
. Prior MIG welding experience in multiple positions (vertical down, horizontal, etc.) and material thickness is required. Demco provides a competitive compensation & benefits package that takes into account your welding experience, skills, and expertise.

Starting at $21.99+ based on experience.

Hours are Monday - Thursday 6am-4:30pm and Fridays as needed.

• Able to set a welder according to job requirements
• Able to read weld symbols
• To follow safety procedures
• To keep an accurate count on product
• Able to read prints and weld according to print directions
• Able to weld in multiple positions
• Able to read and use measuring tools accurately
• Able to use a hoist or crane and know the correct procedures to operate it
• To complete jobs on a timely and consistent basis

• Must have welding experience
• Must be able to pass a welding test
• Ability to read weld symbols
• Ability to weld in multiple positions
• Able to prioritize and sort jobs according to needs
• Able to read and use measuring tools accurately
• Be safety minded
• Attention to detail and a high standard of quality
• Must comply to ISO 9001 required policies
• Must be a team player who can work effectively in a team environment
• Good interpersonal, verbal communication and active listening skills
• Willingness and ability to learn and perform other jobs
• Able to lift 50 pounds occasionally and push/pull 100 pounds occasionally
• Forklift experience preferred, willingness to be trained required
