Aircraft Dispatch Officer

Overview

Aero 2 Academy is a local flight training operation offering Part 61 instruction to student pilots. Our focus is safe, efficient operations, strong communication, and a supportive training environment for students and instructors.

• This is a contract, on-site Dispatcher role based in Spartanburg, SC. The Dispatcher supports daily flight school operations by coordinating aircraft and instructor schedules, monitoring weather conditions, managing check-ins, cancellations, and reschedules, and ensuring aircraft are properly dispatched according to school procedures.
• This role serves as the central point of communication between students, instructors, and management to keep daily operations running smoothly.

• Strong organizational and scheduling skills
• Clear and professional communication skills
• Comfortable using computers, scheduling tools, and basic office systems
• Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to follow procedures
• Interest in aviation and willingness to learn flight school operations
• Prior aviation, scheduling, or administrative experience is a plus but not required
