AboutThe Role
GSP Cabinetry is seeking Cabinet Technicians who take pride in getting the details right. This hands‑on role focuses on final trim‑out, adjustments, punch work, and light service tasks for newly installed kitchen and bathroom cabinetry in residential new construction homes. You’ll be the final eyes and hands on every job, making sure that all cabinets are aligned, clean, and finished perfectly before the builder’s final walkthrough.
You’ll work under the supervision of our Field Manager and support the install team by ensuring no detail is left undone. This is an ideal role for someone with a sharp eye for detail, great problem‑solving skills, and a background in trim carpentry or cabinet service work.
- Perform final trim‑out tasks, including:
- Installing quarter round or toe kick
- Touch‑up work using caulk, paint, markers, or repair kits
- Adjusting cabinet doors, drawers, and hardware for smooth function and alignment
- Complete punch list items identified during internal inspections or builder walkthroughs
- Maintain a professional appearance of every cabinet install — clean, aligned, and job‑site ready
- Identify and communicate any missing items, damage, or required corrections to the Field Manager
- Use mobile job tracking software to update task completion and notes
- Assist the field team as needed to ensure jobs are ready for closeout
- 1+ year experience in cabinetry, trim carpentry, service work, or residential finish work
- High attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Steady hand for touch‑up, caulking, and adjustments
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required (you will drive a company vehicle daily)
- Able to lift up to 75+ lbs and work in typical home construction environments
- Strong communication skills and ability to follow direction
- All tools and materials are provided by the company
If you're a detail‑oriented finisher who enjoys bringing things across the finish line and making good work look great, apply now to join a team that values precision, professionalism, and results.
