Job Description
The Vacuum / Hydroblast Crew Leader will perform a wide range of physical activities that require strength and flexibility of the whole body for handling, positioning, moving, and manipulating equipment and materials, emergency response, vacuum truck operations, waste disposal, site remediation, and high-pressure water blasting. The Vacuum / Hydroblast Crew Leader will use leadership skills to ensure that the crew is following company and customer standards, policies, and best practices.
Responsibilities- Lead crews, offer feedback, assist crews and train new employees in the completion of the job duties in accordance with all company and client policy.
- Ensure all equipment is functioning.
- Must have general knowledge of all Hydro Blast Pumps (10K, 20K, 40K).
- Must have general knowledge of Liquid Vacuum and Air Machine Trucks.
- Load out a hydro blast and vacuum truck jobs, i.e. be familiar with all pieces of equipment necessary to safely and effectively complete the required job scope.
- Inspect all aspects of work from the job site to equipment before commencing work.
- Complete Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and all applicable safety paperwork.
- Strong communication skills, both internally and externally.
- Experience in the hydro blasting and vacuuming field.
- Valid Driver License.
- TWIC preferred but not required.
- Must pass a pre-employment Drug Screen.
- Pass all Required Background Screens.
- Work at Industrial Owner Facilities.
- Perform manual labor to complete tasks associated with service lines performed by USA DeBusk.
- Respond to emergency calls 24 hours a day, 7 days a week if called upon.
- Able to work shifts up to 12-16 hours (day or night), both indoors and outdoors in the sun, which requires being on your feet.
- Able to hydro blast utilizing a shotgun.
- Must be capable of setting up equipment for the job including lifting and carrying hoses that may weigh up to 50 lbs.
- Required to work at elevations and wear fall protection harnesses.
- Ability to work in confined spaces for 4-7 hours per day; stand or walk for long periods.
