As our steep slope service technician, you will work with the service manager, technical service manager, and other service technicians to diagnose and repair roof‑related problems.

Job Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate proficiency in roof system repair and the ability to work capably on any roof system assigned by the service manager. This includes:
  • Steep Slope:
    Shingle, slate, flashing
  • Low Slope: TPO, PVC, BUR, EPDM
• Be on time for all shifts, ready to go at the assigned time with all personal tools and PPE
• Abide by all safety requirements
• Complete site report documentation required to log and bill jobs
• Document current conditions and future needs
• Deliver excellent quality work and customer satisfaction
• Perform work according to company standards with professional and courteous behavior
• Other duties as assigned

Compensation & Benefits:

• Pay starts at $20 an hour, depending on skills and experience
• Bonuses based on performance, client satisfaction, and teamwork

In our Steep Slope Roofing Technician, we’re looking for someone who is a true professional. From communication and work ethic to attention to detail and safety standards.

Skills & Abilities:

• Valid driver’s license and the ability to drive a company vehicle
• Effective communication, written and in speech, with clients and team members
• Problem‑solving skills to diagnose and repair roof systems safely and with accuracy and attention to detail
• Perform math calculations related to roofing work
• Climb ladders and work at heights and sloped surfaces
• Physical ability to lift and maneuver heavy objects
• Use all hand tools associated with roofing installation, including general hand tools and specific roofing‑related tools
• Professionally work with others and teach fellow crew members roof system installation skills
• Identify safety hazards on project sites and take corrective measures to eliminate or reduce risks associated with those hazards
• Read and understand architectural plans and specifications

Qualifications &

Work Experience:

• 5 years of roofing production experience
• Ability to work 8–12 hour shifts on weekdays and weekends (M-F, 7am–6pm is typical)
• Lift 50 lbs or less and related manual labor
• Avalid driver’s license (preferred)
• 10 or 30 hour OSHA card (preferred)
• Specialized training (preferred)
• Fluent in English and Spanish (preferred)
