Step into a dynamic role at the center of collaboration between our project, manufacturing, accounting, quality, engineering, and purchasing teams. As the internal sales liaison—and a key secondary point of contact for our customer—you’ll help drive successful program execution, maintain seamless communication, and ensure exceptional service delivery.
Your Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted link between internal teams and the customer
- Manage customer purchase orders in multiple currencies, including pricing agreements, retroactive adjustments, and deviation handling
- Prepare customer quotations and track program costs
- Coordinate engineering change pricing (PP)
- Navigate and maintain customer web portals
- Support RFQ activities and gAMS processes
- Create and deliver technical presentations
- Monitor A/R overdues and analyze payment remittances
- Maintain accurate sales records and support ECR activities
- Oversee warranty claim processes
- Provide budget reporting and forecasting
- Track and communicate open issues
- Support business development initiatives and the Sales Manager
- Provide ad‑hoc reporting as needed
You’ll thrive in this role if you bring:
- A bachelor’s degree in business or engineering — or equivalent automotive industry experience
- At least three years of automotive‑related experience (preferred)
- Strong presentation skills with the ability to communicate clearly with customers
- Relationship‑building skills and a customer‑focused mindset
- Problem‑solving and negotiation abilities
- A solid understanding of the automotive industry, from technology and trends to market pricing and suppliers
- Working knowledge of customer systems
- Experience with SAP, Word, Excel, and Power Point
- German language skills (preferred – not necessary)
- Previous BMW account experience (preferred – not necessary)
