Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance / Quality Control (QA/QC) Technician to support electrical, mechanical, and TFO (Turn-Up / Field Operations) activities on complex industrial and mission-critical projects. This role is responsible for ensuring all work is performed in accordance with project specifications, safety standards, codes, and client quality requirements.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, field-experienced, and comfortable working alongside construction, commissioning, and operations teams in fast-paced environments.
Key Responsibilities- Perform QA/QC inspections for electrical and mechanical installations, including TFO activities
- Verify work complies with project drawings, specifications, SOPs, and quality plans
- Conduct inspections during all phases: pre-install, install, testing, commissioning, and turnover
- Review documentation including checklists, test results, punch lists, and turnover packages
- Identify non-conforming work and track corrective actions through resolution
- Coordinate with project managers, field supervisors, and client representatives
- Support commissioning, energization, and turnover processes
- Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory requirements
- Maintain accurate QA/QC reports and inspection records
- 3+ years of experience in QA/QC, preferably in electrical, mechanical, or mission-critical environments
- Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems
- Experience supporting TFO or commissioning operations preferred
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Knowledge of quality control procedures and inspection processes
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work on active construction sites and in operational facilities.
- Data center, industrial, or critical infrastructure projects
- Commissioning or startup support
- Familiarity with QA/QC documentation system
- Experience working with client QA/QC standards
