Location:
Spartanburg, SC. Salary: $73,000.00 - $80,000.00.
- Responsible for successfully operating any and all extruders independently with minimal support, as needed.
- Set up extruder to maintain quality specifications.
- Operate forklift for moving material.
- Measure product before and after cure; must be able to set up and operate Laser Mic and other automated measuring equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance, housekeeping, and equipment repairs as needed.
- Accurate record‑keeping for routings, routing changes, sample runs, and production runs via personal computer and other documentation.
- Basic understanding of SPC and rubber and plastic technology.
- Any additional duties assigned by cell leader, supervisor, or manager.
- Basic math skills.
- Use a calculator.
- Able to read simple blueprints.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Keep accurate and legible records.
- Able to use hand tools (open‑end/box‑end wrenches, screwdriver, hammer, Allen wrenches).
- Must be able to lift 25+ lbs (not repetitive).
