Position: Sr. EHS Manager [RW-14700]

A global industrial manufacturer is currently seeking a Sr, EHS Manager to lead all EHS functions at its facility in the Spartanburg, SC area. The Sr. EHS Manager will be working directly with plant leadership to ensure the well-being of all employees at the manufacturing facility and will be responsible for updating and maintaining the site's EHS systems, programs, and culture.

The successful candidate will be expected serve as a communication link between management and employees by keeping all personnel informed of EHS related matters.

The Role
  • Influences Plant, Production, Operations, Maintenance and site management to drive the EHS performance and results.
  • Direct management of a robust EHS team covering all 3 shifts of the plant's production cycles.
  • Supports company interface with regulatory authorities for regulatory visits, requests and submissions for the region.
  • Monitors changes to all EHS regulations pertaining to their area and reviews recommendations for incorporation into EHS management systems and standards in a timely manner.
  • Accountable for managing site EHS documentation to include program design, EHS data collection and posting, training documentation, and EHS KPI reports.
  • Participates as a leader for audits and assigns EHS resources to audits in their area.
The Candidate
  • B.S. degree in an EHS-related field required
  • 7+ years in EHS roles within a manufacturing setting.
  • 4+ years experience managing a team of multiple direct repours.
  • Strong knowledge of Machine Guarding, LOTO, and other OSHA regulations within a heavy manufacturing setting.
  • Previous handling of Title V and other EPA permits & regulations.
  • Strong leadership qualities.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage others.
