Wed., Thur., Fri., Alternating Sat. 6:30PM-7:00AM. The Spartanburg operation is a state-of-the-art coffee roasting and pod packaging facility with a full beverage distribution center. It is the largest KDRP manufacturing and distribution location. All associates at the Spartanburg site report to both a functional business unit and the full site operation. The site runs on enterprise IT and manufacturing execution systems with highly automated processing, packaging, and material movement equipment.
As a Maintenance Supervisor you are responsible for the overall equipment performance of the Spartanburg Site. The Maintenance Supervisor will lead and inspire teams of highly skilled, highly engaged employees and support a “team of teams” Business Unit approach to achieve extraordinary results. You will provide oversight and guidance to a team of 10+ Maintenance technicians and collaborate across functions to streamline production efficiency and deliver world-class safety, quality, and delivery performance.
Working within a highly automated environment, the Maintenance Supervisor will drive disciplined execution of standardized processes through standard work and layered process audits, while teaching structured problem-solving techniques to drive waste out of the system and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
- Deliver best-in-class performance across the balanced Scorecard.
- Achieve zero-injury safety goal by leading and supporting safety culture through behavioral observations, safety meetings, safety audits, lock-out/tag-out program enforcement, and 100% completion of safety/regulatory training.
- Achieve zero-defect performance and improve customer experience by leading right-first-time production, conducting layered process audits, and leading Root Cause Corrective Action when defects occur.
- Collaborate with operations, quality, material handling, and the distribution center to reduce unplanned downtime and increase machine availability through autonomous and preventive/predictive maintenance SOPs.
- Lead full employee lifecycle from interviewing, hiring, and training to coaching, developing, and rewarding Maintenance Technicians.
- Motivate, coach, and develop diverse, high-performing teams to meet goals and build organizational capability.
- Provide leadership and support to Maintenance teams in site operational meetings (Maintenance planning, Business Unit, site leadership, and employee meetings).
- Build constructive relationships using diplomacy and treat direct reports equitably.
- Lead according to TPM and High Performing Team Principles, policies, and applicable laws.
- Salary range: $76,400 - $120,000

- 5 years of hands-on maintenance experience in a maintenance environment
- Minimum 4 years in a manufacturing leadership role, preferably in food/beverage manufacturing, overseeing 10+ employees
- Analytical/problem-solving skills; ability to propose solutions with incomplete information
- Experience with vendors/consultants to analyze manufacturing performance and develop strategies supporting supply chain objectives
- Experience with material batching and CIP/COP preferred
- Ability to develop and conduct group presentations to employees and management
- Provide current, direct, actionable feedback
- Agility and ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Prioritize to meet business needs and solve problems methodically
- Ability to manage and lead changes and pursue continuous improvement
- Occasional travel and flexible schedule to support staff on different shifts
- Performs other duties as requested by management
