Law firm in Spartanburg, SC is seeking a Paralegal to support attorneys in the areas of real estate, estate planning, and probate administration. This is a direct hire, in‑office position. Hours are 8:30 am – 5:00 pm, Monday – Friday.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with real estate transactions, corporate and business transactions, estate planning and probate administration, and litigation
- Support real estate transactions from contract through closing
- Manage and oversee real estate closings by reviewing title abstracts, preparing title insurance policies and closing packages, ensuring proper fund disbursement, and handling post‑closing tasks
- Manage files, calendars, and deadlines
- Draft and edit letters and legal documents
- 2+ years of experience as a legal assistant or paralegal with exposure to real estate transactions is required
- Real estate experience (closings and title policies)
- Knowledge of the litigation process, including discovery requests and certificates of service preferred
- Proficiency with Soft Pro, Microsoft Office, Sage Timeslips, and Quick Books
