Culture & Professional Development Training Coordinator

Position Overview

In this role, you will focus on supporting Division leadership and personnel with the implementation and execution of core Division functions that contribute to the overall success of Concrete Strategies. As a key contributor to the Training team, you will play an essential role in the implementation of New Employee Orientation classes, craft training programs, Drug & Alcohol Testing, Employee Recognition, First Aid/CPR training and data tracking of leading and lagging indicators as they relate to company safety goals.

Your efforts will ensure we provide highly effective training to newly hired and current team members and help ensure we retain high-caliber professionals who align with our company culture and values.

Compensation and Benefits

Competitive Annual Salary based on qualifications, skills, training, experience, and location.

Salary Range: $55,000 - $65,000

Discretionary Annual Bonus

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct Safety NEO classes and managing new hire paperwork coordination with payroll
• Manage orientation surveys and reporting
• Administer drug testing programs, including quarterly random testing, pre-employment, post-accident, DOT, reinstatement)
• Assign and track required training across all platforms
• Serve as First Aid, CPR, and AED trainer
• Write and distribute toolbox talks
• Oversee employee recognition program
• Record all training time in field log system
• Enter and maintain certifications in EHS
• Assign training across multiple platforms and manage employee access
• Coordinate training requests from safety professionals
• Serve as MOM liaison for project clinics and documentation
• Support DOT clerical functions (CDL checks, terminations, Verizon key fobs, speed reports)
• Track medical cards, license expirations, and driver training
• Coordinate logistics for training classes, including meals & room assignments/needs
• Provides admin support to manager roles

Requirements

• An associate’s degree in safety, HR, business, or a related field preferred.
• Proven experience in a fast-paced training environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with teammates, stakeholders, and leaders.
• Ability to effectively utilize Word, PowerPoint, and Excel required.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a strong ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
