Certified Fluoroscopy Tech – Summit Spine & Joint Centers

Summit Spine & Joint Centers (SSJC) is on track to become the largest comprehensive spine and joint care provider in Georgia. We provide clinical, surgical, and imaging services to our patients and are seeking qualified individuals to join the team and provide exceptional patient care.

Under general supervision of a licensed provider, the Fluoro Tech operates the C‑Arm machine to provide real‑time x‑ray imaging for surgeons. These images guide minimally invasive surgical procedures and are critical to overall surgical success and patient health. The position is part‑time and reports to the Operations Manager. Primary locations include 17 clinic sites with schedules subject to change based on coverage and ASC operating hours.

• Triage patients to be seen by providers, including rooming, taking vitals, merging charts, and patient communication.
• Assist providers in exam rooms as directed.
• Effectively process messages between patients and administration or other medical offices.
• Report to office manager and/or practice administrator.
• Ensure radiation safety: use of C‑Arm, wear lead vest for most of the shift, maintain sterile environment.
• Manipulate C‑Arm as directed by the surgeon to capture required x‑ray perspectives.

• Willing to travel to other locations.
• Detail‑oriented.
• Effectively use the C‑Arm machine.
• Maintain a sterile environment during procedures.
• Wear lead vest and/or other PPE.

• Certificate from the SCRQSA to legally perform fluoroscopy in South Carolina – required.
• Experience using eClinical Works or other EMR systems preferred.
• 1‑year clinical experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

• Spartanburg:
  Mondays 8 am – 5 pm
• Greenville (ASC):
  Alternating Thursdays & Fridays 8 am – 5 pm
