Novant Health Physical Therapy is currently looking for a physical therapist (PT) to join our team. The PT obtains patient’s medical history; administers treatment pursuant to the physical referral; completes all appropriate documentation in the patient’s medical records; instructs patient and family members in necessary patient care, assists in the total rehabilitation of the patient; and assists in the training of support personnel and in the presentation of in‑service programs.

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy
• Current state license in South Carolina
• Current CPR certificate
• Effective personal and interpersonal communications skills. Able to document patient care in patient medical records, operate equipment and dispense patient care supplies
• Ability to use evidence‑based practice guidance to treat orthopedic and neurological diagnoses/injuries
• Ability to develop treatment plans, provide quality patient care, and supervise assistants
• Ability to demonstrate competence in physical therapy evaluation, assessment, care planning and treatment
• Ability to improve and expand client relations with other medical facilities and staff

• 2 years’ experience in an outpatient setting
• Graduate of a Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE) accredited school of Physical Therapy
• Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy
