Full-time CT Technologist - $20k Sign-on Bonus!

American Health Imaging is hiring a full-time CT Technologist for our brand-new state-of-the-art imaging center in Spartanburg, South Carolina, scheduled to open in February 2026.
We are proud to offer a $20,000 sign-on bonus for the role.

The CT Technologist performs a variety of standard, and specialty Computed Tomography (CT) procedures to produce imaging studies using radiology technology to assist physicians with formulating a medical diagnosis while complying with safety and regulatory requirements. Specifically, conducts radiology exams and documents clinically appropriate results for interpretive physicians and records.

Responsibilities
  • Demonstrates the company’s values in daily activities
  • Performs complex tasks associated with the operation of CT scanners and related equipment to produce cross-section images of patients’ internal organs and tissues for the diagnosis of medical issues
  • Positions patients for CT scans using immobilization and protective equipment to comply with government regulations and to ensure the safety of patients and staff
  • Screens patients for CT safety prior to procedure performance
  • Starts IVs, administers contrast media as directed and per protocol
  • Evaluates CT scans for technical quality, collates processed images and sequences of exposure and labels appropriately
  • Loads and operates power injectors for contrast media administration
  • Applies the profession's code of ethics in all aspects of practice
  • Maintains knowledge of, observes, and enforces the safety measures in the Environment of Care
  • Maintains accurate patient records
  • Assists in other modalities as requested and as allowed by licensure/certification
Qualifications
  • Graduate of 24-month AMA-approved School of Radiology Technology
  • 12 months previous experience in diagnostic radiology or other imaging modality
  • ARRT certification in Computed Tomography (CT) is required
  • Applicable State Licensure, where required
  • IV credentialed if applicable
  • BLS certification preferred
