At Motus, we’re revolutionizing the manufacturing industry and seeking a passionate, forward-thinking Process Engineer to help us make an impact and drive this position to new heights.

Responsibilities- Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing processes, workflows, and layouts.
- Provide engineering support to manufacturing operations and resolve production issues.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities related to safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
- Collaborate with Quality, Supply Chain, Maintenance, and Production teams to resolve process and product issues.
- Support new product introductions, including process development, tooling, and documentation.
- Analyze manufacturing data to identify trends and recommend corrective actions.
- Ensure manufacturing processes comply with applicable safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
- Support capital equipment projects, including justification, selection, and implementation.
- Identify areas of improvement in manufacturing operations.
- Recommend and implement changes to safety procedures, work methods, and labor standards. Work with existing facilities on productivity improvement projects.
- Initiates and/or manages cost reductions and improvement projects.
- Identify areas to reduce waste in all manufacturing processes, focusing on process improvements using LEAN methodology.
- Responsible for planning, organizing, scheduling, and reporting as necessary to complete assignments.
- Work to resolve issues, improve quality, reduce customer complaints and ensure consistent quality.
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Industrial & Systems Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related fields.
- Minimum 3 - 5 years of experience in process engineering; automotive industry highly preferred.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Solid Works, AutoCAD) and FEA analysis tools.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and materials used in automotive components.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
