Elementary School Teacher

We are seeking a mission-driven Lower Elementary Teacher who is passionate about educating the whole child—spiritually, intellectually, emotionally, socially, and physically in the Catholic tradition.

• Deliver engaging instruction aligned to diocesan standards with a strong foundation in early literacy, phonics, and numeracy.
• Employ varied instructional strategies that support multiple intelligences and diverse learners.
• Utilize data-informed teaching (including MAP Growth) to track progress and ensure high levels of achievement for all students.
• Cultivate a nurturing, organized, and well-managed classroom where students feel loved, safe, and eager to learn.
• Use consistent, proactive behavior support tied to virtue formation.
• Maintain strong, collegial partnerships with parents as primary educators.

• Work as a committed member of the school’s PLC structure.
• Collaborate with the Assistant Principal to support differentiated learning.
• Engage actively in ongoing professional development.

• Practicing Catholic strongly preferred; must support and uphold Catholic teaching and mission.
• Bachelor’s degree in Elementary or Early Childhood Education strongly preferred.
• Valid South Carolina teaching certification (or eligibility) preferred.
• Experience or training in foundational literacy instruction preferred.
• Positive, organized, collaborative, and growth-oriented professional disposition.
