BC​/BE Infectious Disease Physician

Spartanburg Medical Center (SMC) located in Spartanburg, SC is seeking to hire a FULL-TIME BC/BE Infectious Disease physician to become part of the SMC – Center for Infectious Disease. The  will join a group of 4 BC Infectious Disease physicians and 1 PA.

Highlights of the position include:

• Hybrid inpatient & outpatient position with half day clinics
• Providers maintain continuity of care by following their own patients in both the inpatient and outpatient settings
• Dedicated inpatient and outpatient wound care team, infectious disease pharmacists, nutritionist, and mental health counselor embedded into the program
• Outpatient services to include:
  • Well established Ryan White clinic
  • Travel medicine
  • Outpatient consultations
  • Primary care for Ryan White patients
• 1:5 weekday and weekend call, split evenly amongst the providers
• EPIC EMR system
• PLSF approved institution
• Compensation package including:
  • $6,000 CME allowance and 30 days time off per year

  • Paid Malpractice with tail coverage incorporated into the policy
