Customer Service Rep
As a Credit Reporting Identify Theft associate, you will be responsible for maintaining and managing work volume. This will include the handling of accounts where the ownership of said accounts is being disputed. Day-to-day responsibilities can include responding to emails, mailing correspondence, updating our system of record and communicating with credit reporting agencies and consumers. The ideal candidate can remain calm, provide outstanding customer service, adapt easily to change and demonstrate attention to detail.
EssentialFunctions

- May respond to disputes from customers and/or credit reporting agencies via written communication or a third party application.
- May work directly with other lines of business within ACA
- May elevate certain issues/accounts to management.
- May send/file appropriate documents and forms via email and traditional methods
- May update our database with actions taken on each account
- Uploading of certain documents
- Other duties as assigned
- High School diploma or GED; and at least 6 months or greater years of customer service experience
- Familiar with navigating various computer applications
- Proven ability to multi-task
- Strong attention to detail
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work alone or partner with others.
- Basic knowledge of company products, services, policies, procedures, computer applications, and how to apply this knowledge
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment and Physical DemandsThis job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Position Type/Expected Hours of WorkThis is a full-time position with a work schedule that will vary as needed.
TravelThis position requires no travel.
