Description
Summary/Objective:
As a Credit Reporting Identity Theft associate, you will be responsible for maintaining and managing work volume. This includes handling accounts where ownership is disputed. Day-to-day responsibilities may include responding to emails, mailing correspondence, updating our system of record, and communicating with credit reporting agencies and consumers. The ideal candidate remains calm, provides outstanding customer service, adapts easily to change, and demonstrates attention to detail.
- Respond to disputes from customers and/or credit reporting agencies via written communication or a third party application.
- Work directly with other lines of business within ACA.
- Escalate certain issues or accounts to management.
- Send/file appropriate documents and forms via email and traditional methods.
- Update the database with actions taken on each account.
- Upload certain documents.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High School diploma or GED; and at least 6 months of customer service experience.
- Familiarity with navigating various computer applications.
- Proven ability to multi-task.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work alone or with others.
- Basic knowledge of company products, services, policies, procedures, and how to apply this knowledge.
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment and Physical DemandsThis job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Position Type/Expected Hours of WorkThis is a full-time position with a work schedule that will vary as needed.
TravelThis position requires no travel.
