Logistics Quality Specialist II (Onsite) – Primary

Location:

Spartanburg, South Carolina. V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring for a Logistics Quality Specialist II for our premier client in Spartanburg, South Carolina.

Education And Experience

• BA/BS degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or Psychology or the equivalent of 4 years experience in the related area preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• 4+ years experience in Logistics to include issue resolution in the following areas:
  Supply Chain Planning, Material Requirements Planning (MRP), Material Control, Production Control, Warehouse Operations, MC Receiving operations, VPS, Lean Manufacturing, Returnable container management, JIS WoW and Transportation planning.

• Daily Internal department status meetings.
• On-site supplier visits (Travel).
• Critical part supply response and micromanagement of critical suppliers (when needed).
• Tracking supplier continuous improvement activities.
• Escalation of supplier underperformance.
• Management reporting activities based on supplier KPI’s.
• New project industrialization for Logistics processes.
