Responsibilities of a Nuclear Medical Technologists Technologist

• Performing or assisting in the performance of diagnostic or therapeutic procedures using radionuclides or brachytherapy sources.
• These responsibilities include but are not limited to radiopharmacy, radiation safety, in vivo and in vitro studies, equipment and inventory maintenance.
• The Staff Nuclear Imaging Technologist exercises professional judgment while performing services in a demeanor complimentary to customer service, age specific criteria, safety and medical ethics.
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements of a Nuclear Medical Technologists Technologist

• Graduate of an AMA approved program of Nuclear Medicine.
• Must be licensed by ARRT (N) or CNMT
• Associate's Degree in Nuclear Imaging or Business.
• A Bachelor Degree is preferred.
