Low Voltage Residential​/Commercial Technician

We are seeking a dependable and motivated
Low Voltage Residential/Commercial Technician
to assist with the installation of low voltage wiring systems in residential homes and commercial structures. The Wire Runner will support lead technicians by pulling, routing, labeling, and securing wiring for systems such as home automation, security, audio/video, networking, and structured cabling. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone looking to grow in the low voltage or home technology industry.

• Pull and route low voltage wiring (Cat5e/Cat6, coax, speaker wire, fiber, control wiring) in new construction and retrofit residential projects
• Assist technicians with the installation of home automation, security, surveillance, and audio/video systems
• Drill holes, mount brackets, and secure cables according to project plans and local codes
• Label, organize, and terminate cables as directed
• Maintain a clean and safe job site
• Load/unload materials and ensure tools are organized
• Follow safety guidelines and company standards
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Basic knowledge of hand and power tools
• Ability to read floor plans is a plus
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Ability to work in attics, crawl spaces, and construction environments
• Must be able to lift 50+ lbs
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred

• Experience with structured wiring
• Familiarity with low voltage systems (security, cameras, networking, AV)
• Basic understanding of residential construction practices
• Primarily residential construction sites (new builds and remodels)
• May involve climbing ladders and working in confined spaces

• Competitive hourly pay (based on experience)
