Position OverviewThe Driver – Forklift & Telehandler is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of forklifts, telehandlers, and other material-handling equipment to support industrial and commercial construction projects. This role involves transporting, staging, and organizing materials and equipment across job sites while ensuring compliance with all safety and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities- Equipment Operation: Operate forklifts, telehandlers, and other powered industrial vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, move, and stage materials, tools, and equipment according to project needs.
- Site Organization: Maintain clean and organized laydown areas, storage zones, and access routes.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to company safety standards, conduct equipment inspections, and report defects immediately.
- Logistics Support: Assist with material delivery coordination, inventory tracking, and material verification.

Collaboration:
Work closely with foremen, project managers, and other trades to ensure timely material delivery and workflow efficiency.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience operating forklifts and telehandlers in industrial or construction environments.
- Valid forklift and telehandler operator certification (in compliance with OSHA 29 CFR ).
- Strong awareness of job-site safety practices and equipment operating procedures.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- OSHA 10-Hour or 30-Hour Safety Certification.
- Experience operating rough-terrain forklifts or telehandlers in industrial or EPC environments.
- Familiarity with material staging and logistics coordination.
- Work is performed primarily outdoors on active industrial and construction job sites. The role may involve exposure to varying weather conditions, uneven terrain, and moving equipment. Must wear appropriate PPE and comply with all safety protocols.
Reports to the Project Superintendent or Foreman. Works in coordination with warehouse, logistics, and field operations teams. Compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and project scope, in accordance with Nevada law.
