Position OverviewThe Electrician - Foreman provides on-site leadership and supervision for electrical crews engaged in industrial and commercial construction and maintenance. This role ensures projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards, coordinating personnel, materials, and work activities to meet schedule and budget goals.
Key Responsibilities- Crew Supervision: Lead and direct Journeyman and Apprentice Electricians to achieve project goals.
- Planning & Coordination: Develop daily work plans, coordinate with other trades, and manage tools and materials.
- Safety Oversight: Conduct safety meetings, ensure compliance with OSHA and company standards, and enforce job-site safety procedures.
- Quality Control: Review installations for adherence to electrical codes, drawings, and specifications.
- Technical Expertise: Troubleshoot complex electrical systems and provide field solutions.
- Reporting & Documentation: Maintain daily logs, track labor and material usage, and communicate project updates to management.
- Valid Nevada Journeyman Electrician License (required).
- Minimum of six (6) years of experience in electrical construction, including supervisory duties.
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes, systems, and installation methods.
- Proven leadership, organization, and communication skills.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and technical documents.
- Experience managing industrial electrical projects or multi-trade coordination.
- OSHA 30-Hour Certification or equivalent.
Field-based position at active industrial and commercial sites. May involve working outdoors, in confined spaces, or uires regular communication with other trade Foremen and Project Superintendents.
Reporting StructureReports to the Project Superintendent or Project Manager. Directly supervises Journeyman and Apprentice Electricians.
Compensation & BenefitsCompensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and project scope, in accordance with Nevada law.
