SOC Operator - 2nd Shift

Job Overview:

Prosegur Security is seeking highly professional and customer service–focused SOC Operators for a premier client site in Sparks, Nevada. This position combines physical patrol duties with security operations center (SOC) responsibilities, including alarm monitoring, camera surveillance, and access control management.

This role requires a balance of excellent customer service skills and the ability to confidently operate security technology, including access control, alarm panels, and camera systems.

• Provide outstanding customer service while maintaining a safe and secure environment for employees, visitors, and property.
• Operate the SOC, monitoring camera systems, alarm systems, and access control system.
• Manage access permissions, track badge activity, and monitor site security systems in real time.
• Accurately document incidents, patrol logs, and SOC activity reports.
• Respond to alarms, radio calls, and electronic alerts with urgency and professionalism.
• Answer phone calls from interior guard posts, employees, and clients, and dispatch appropriate responses.
• Initiate escalation and notification procedures when necessary.
• Collaborate with other security team members and site leadership to resolve incidents and ensure operational continuity.
• Always maintain a professional and service-oriented demeanor when assisting employees, visitors, and contractors.

• Valid Nevada Security Guard License required.
• Valid CPR Certification required.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of security experience.
• Minimum 1 yea Dispatch/SOC experience.
• Comfortable with technology, including cameras, alarm panels.
• Willingness to learn and operate multiple security systems confidently with provided training.
• Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors, including during varied weather conditions.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Ability to stay calm and think clearly during emergencies or high-pressure situations.
