Physical Security Program Manager , DC Security AMER C

Amazon Web Services (AWS) and  serve customers worldwide with secure cloud services. This role oversees physical security projects for AWS Infrastructure Physical Security team.

• Manage installation of approved physical security system hardware, including access control, intrusion detection, CCTV, and other components.
• Design physical security systems for new construction, expansion and retrofit projects.
• Prepare security design standards, typical drawings, and technical specification documents for vendor pricing.
• Review and provide quality assurance of vendor quotes and submit quote packages to the Infrastructure Technical Project Manager.
• Project manage multiple concurrent security system installation projects and vendors.
• Serve as subject matter expert for physical security system testing, acceptance, and operational readiness at project completion.
• Prepare and archive project close-out documentation.
• Report vendor performance metrics regarding system installation, service delivery, and equipment availability / reliability.

AWS Infrastructure Services (AIS) designs, plans, delivers, and operates AWS global infrastructure, supporting data center operations. The team values diversity, inclusion, mentorship, and work/life balance.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience managing contract security and physical security operation programs such as access control, intrusion detection, and CCTV surveillance systems.
• Travel up to 25% of the time.
• Minimum 2+ years’ experience in physical security project management.

• Bachelor’s degree or above.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, and MS Office Suite.
• Experience in design, implementation, support, and evaluation of security-focused tools and services.
• 3+ years’ experience working with design, installation, and integration of access control, intrusion detection, and CCTV surveillance systems.
• PSP, CPP, PMP Certification.
• Ability to manage multiple medium and large scale projects that are complex in nature and develop project schedules and manage adherence to established timetables.

Base salary range: $80,000.00 – $ USD annually. Compensation includes sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Benefits include health, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k), paid time off, and parental leave.
