The Inside Sales Representative plays a key role in driving revenue growth for our company by proactively reaching out to customers and prospects to promote our line of manual door hardware products
, including closers, hinges, locks, exit devices, and accessories. This role emphasizes outbound phone sales and relationship building to customers. - Make outbound sales calls to new and existing customers to promote our DCM closers, hinges, locks, pivots, and exit devices to generate quotes and close sales.
- Prepare and follow up on quotes, ensuring timely responses and competitive pricing.
- Proactively identify and qualify new sales opportunities through customer outreach.
- Develop a strong understanding of our product line to recommend hardware to customers based on their needs.
- Manage customer accounts, maintain regular contact, and grow sales volume.
- Collaborate with outside sales representatives to support key accounts that are service focused and new business initiatives.
- Maintain detailed records of all customer interactions, calls, and opportunities within the CRM system.
- Participate in sales meetings and provide feedback on market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
- Partner with marketing to support campaigns, product launches, and promotional efforts.
- 2–4 years of inside sales or customer service experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment; experience in manual door hardware or related building products preferred.
- Proven success with outbound calling and business development preferred.
- High school diploma/GED.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software preferred.
- Communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Good organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
