Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) – Holistic Private Practice

Sparks, NV Job Type: Part-Time (with transition to Full-Time as patient load allows)

Our mission is to support the physical and emotional health of our patients across the lifespan. Position SummaryWe are currently seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner to join our team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate is passionate about integrative and preventative care, comfortable managing a wide range of acute and chronic conditions, and skilled in building lasting relationships with patients and families. Our providers see 2 patients per hour on average to allow time to address concerns fully.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages in alignment with integrative health principles.
- Conduct physical exams, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop treatment plans.
- Manage acute and chronic illnesses with a whole-person approach.
- Educate patients on wellness, nutrition, lifestyle changes, and preventive care.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals within the practice.
- Document patient encounters and maintain accurate medical records in the EHR system.
- Prescribe medications and alternative treatments in accordance with state and federal regulations.
- Stay current with best practices in family and holistic medicine through ongoing education and training.
- Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
- Current certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C or FNP-BC).
- Active and unrestricted state license to practice as an NP.
- DEA license and prescriptive authority (or ability to obtain).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-based care environment.
- Experience with nutrition, herbal medicine, and lifestyle counseling.
- New graduate applications welcomed if interested in holistic and integrative wellness
- Comfortable discussing non-conventional treatment options respectfully and professionally.
- Empathetic, patient-focused approach to care.
