Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position requiring a NV RN license and at least two years of acute care experience.

• Work in a hospital setting on a Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit
• Patient population includes adults requiring telemetry monitoring
• Three 12-hour day shifts per week
• No local candidates accepted; must live at least 50 miles from the facility
• No on-call requirements noted
• Provide competent, efficient, and compassionate care to Med/Surg Telemetry patients
• Conduct initial and ongoing assessments and complete admission assessments according to facility policies
• Must be able to deliver age-appropriate care across the adult lifespan
• References from two recent managers or supervisors are preferred, including at least one from the most recent employer
• All AHA certifications and required documents must be provided for consideration
• Travelers are not eligible if residing within a 50-mile radius of the facility

• Active NV RN license (no pending status accepted)
• Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved nursing program
• Minimum two years of recent full-time Med/Surg Telemetry experience in a US acute care hospital
• Current AHA certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS required
• CPI certification required
• Must have valid US Social Security Number
• Submission of required documents including identification and certifications
