REGISTERED NURSE, Emergency Dept, Part Time Nights – $5,000 SIGN ON BONUS
We are looking for a dynamic, experienced ER Registered Nurse to provide direct and indirect patient care during night shifts at the Northern Nevada Medical Center. The position is part-time, offers full benefits, and requires availability to float to all units.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, evaluate outcomes, consult with specialists, and adjust nursing care processes for optimal patient care.
- Perform head-to-toe assessments and reassessments per policy for all patient populations.
- Use triage process to ensure timely and appropriate care, accurately assigning triage categories.
- Assess and reassess pain, apply pain‑management techniques, and educate patients and families about pain management.
- Communicate with physicians regarding changes in patient condition.
- Current Nevada nursing license.
- Current ACLS and BLS certificates.
- PALS certificate (to be obtained within six months of employment).
- Minimum 2.5 years of ER experience.
