Maintenance Technician

• Support production by ensuring the safe and proper operation, maintenance and repair of plant equipment.
• Support production in maintaining packaging inventory levels.
• Follow all GMP and safety regulations and procedures.
• Maintain and perform preventive maintenance of various plant manufacturing and supporting equipment.
• Communicate with supervisor for direction and keep the supervisor informed of problems and equipment that is not working properly.
• Perform duties with or without close supervision.
• Generate work orders: complete and close them in a CMMS system.
• Coordinate and complete projects with outside vendors.
• Perform all other related duties as requested.
• Maintain the facility’s grounds and associated buildings.
• Coordinate/unload deliveries of equipment/supplies for the facility on site or in associated buildings.
• Keep associated buildings neat, clean and organized.

• Participate in safety‑related training programs.
• Promote a safe working environment and good GMP practices.
• Maintain a clean, neat and safe work environment.
• Ensure proper documentation of repairs.

• 50% to 70% travel; must have a car.
• Non‑traditional work schedule including evening and weekend work.
• Post in Westboro or Worcester, or elsewhere in central MA that makes sense logistically; could also be based in Boston.
• High school diploma/GED. Undergraduate degree preferred.
• Cannabis industry experience strongly preferred; cannabis knowledge required; this person will be our product expert.
• Previous experience in a sales position preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• High degree of professionalism, organization, and emotional intelligence.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask.
• Extroverted and enthusiastic personality.

$21 - $23 an hour
