Forklift Operator

As a Forklift Operator
, you’ll move pallets and other materials through the warehouse to support production, and load and unload customer trailers. In some locations you may sort pallets by hand and repair damaged wooden pallets by hand. This role is vital to the success of our Relogistics site!

$19.50/hr.

1st Shift: Monday - Sunday 5:00 am – 1:30 pm

• Move sorted pallet stacks to appropriate staging area using Relogistics forklift equipment
• Operate forklifts with care, adhering to company safety procedures at all times
• Hand-sort wooden pallets when required
• Repair wooden pallets using a nail gun when required
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment

• High School Diploma or GED
• Forklift certification preferred
• 1-3 years of forklift experience
• Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, lumber, carpentry, welding, roofing, and/or construction is strongly preferred
• Willingness to work in a labor-intensive environment
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Willingness to work overtime as needed

• Ability to work in extreme conditions, including elements, heat, cold, and air particulate
• Repetitively adjust body position to bend, stoop, walk, turn, pivot, and sit in a forklift for varying shifts
• Noise level varies by location
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required (eye protection, ear protection where required, safety shoes)
• Specific vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, and color vision
• May be required to lift pallets by hand, each weighing 50–75 lb
