Facility Cleaner II

Our client is seeking dedicated and reliable Custodial Worker II professionals to join their team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, safe, and secure environment within a maximum‑security psychiatric forensic facility

As a Custodial Worker II, you will be responsible for:

• Clean and maintain administrative offices, secured areas, restrooms, floors, carpets, walls, ceilings, vents, and windows.
• Handle trash removal, floor care, and biohazard cleanup.
• Use mops, vacuums, ladders, chemical dispensers, and other custodial equipment safely and correctly.

This is a physically demanding role requiring:

• Walking, standing, bending, stooping, and manual labor for an eight‑hour shift.
• Frequent lifting of 10–25 lbs
  , occasional lifting of 25–50 lbs
  , and rare lifting of 50–75 lbs
  .
• Moving equipment weighing 50–175 lbs (often with assistance).
• Ability to sprint or run short distances (up to 40 yards) during emergencies.

Because this position operates inside a secure forensic facility, candidates must be able to:

• Work safely around individuals who may become physically aggressive.
• React quickly to avoid physical harm.
• Maintain awareness of surroundings and follow safety protocols at all times.
• Work indoors and outdoors in temperatures below 32°F and above 100°F.

• Ability to maintain full mobility in all joints and body movements.
• Comfortable working in a high‑security environment with potential for unplanned physical altercations.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently.
• Ability to correctly differentiate cleaning chemicals and use required safety gear (gloves, goggles, masks, protective suits).
• Valid driver’s license (or equivalent) at time of appointment and throughout employment.
• Ability to meet all physical, security, and environmental requirements of the facility.
